Intraday ICE Brent crude: October futures remain bearish and are getting close to $105.53 a barrel support, where the March high was made. Below this, support is seen around $103.87, late March’s peak. Minor resistance is found around $107.50, where May’s low was made, and around $109.17, where Monday’s low was made.

Intraday Nymex light sweet crude: October futures are heading lower towards $106.69 a barrel, the April 11 low, and, if breached, will have $105.58, the March high, in focus. Minor resistance stands around $108.00, the May low. Above this, minor resistance lurks around $110.30 where Wednesday’s high was made.

Comex gold: December gold futures are back at the psychologically-important $800 a troy ounce support region, a decline through which has Tuesday’s $795.2 low, and then support around $787.5, the Aug. 19 low, in view. Minor resistance is at $812.0, the Aug. 26 low, and $816.6, the Aug. 21 low.
Weekly chart Comex gold trend: Bearish.
Intraday Comex silver: September silver futures remain bearish, and might well slip back to $12.63 a troy ounce, Wednesday’s inside day low, once the $12.70 support area has given way. Further down, more significant support comes in at the Aug. 19 $12.52 low. Minor resistance remains at $13.065/oz, the Aug. 26 low.
